Wow, she's a beautiful girl! I'm so glad you picked her up and are taking care of her. I can see 4 kittens, but I really don't have a clue how many there are.

I hope you're able to kee her and the kittens, or find good homes for them.

    Best of luck!

No news yet. Her belly is so big that I think it will burst at anytime.

She is still eating some and spent almost all day long on the same spot, only moves for the basics. Is that normal?
Although she let me pick her up and cuddle she gets tired after awhile and wants to leave.

Also, it depends on the size of the carrier, but personally, I think this would be to small for her to have her babies in. A nice big box with some old towels or blanket would be good, so that you could change them for cleaner ones after she is finished giving birth, as it can get pretty messy.

It's a carrier for small to medium sized dog. I thought that she, being in a strange place with strange people, would like a more sheltered private place.

I hope she delivers soon. That's killing me!

I see 6 and wouldn't be surprised by 7. Or tomorrow. They're pretty big.

    Bumper crop of meezers!

Here's something fun to try. Get a box of powdered milk. Put a little bit in a bowl and add a few drops of water to make a dough. Roll little balls of the dough and put them on a cookie sheet to dry. Offer her one, and see what she thinks.

    Still no babies

Yestarday, we went to the vet, couldn't have an ultrason done because the ultrason's guy had, already, left.

Anyway, if she isn't had her babies by tomorrow morning she is going to have a C-section on the afternoon.

If you could spare one though or two for her.Thanks.

Awww, we get to see baby kittens tomorrow, hopefully!! I am sure everything will be fine. But you and momma cat will be in my thoughts.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Building healthy little meezerbones and trying to stock up breast milk at the same time can make you reeeeeeally appreciate calcium!

How wonderful that you have taken her in - gosh, she is such a beauty.

I am really excited now too - to hear about her babies.

I have never seen an x-ray of kittens either - so I really appreciate your posting it.

And your English is wonderful -

Good luck "MOM"...............(that's you too, Anna)

Oh I am just seeing this thread now.
What a lucky kitty Minette is- and of course I cannot count the babies.
Grisette my first cat had kitties two times (30 years ago ) first time because then I thought it would be better for the cat to have kittens one time, second time because I thought she wouldn't get pregnant while nursing (Two times wrong thinking, I know).

First time she got them in a closet. Of course we had prepared a nice box but she wanted a sheltered spavce with noone around- and Minette might think the same.

I hope the babies are born naturally- would be better for the relationship between them and their mom.

I suppose whatever they will have inherited they will be the cutest babies ever.
