Back home from the hospital!!PICS ADDED on 39 AND NOW ALSO ON 56 !!!!!

    Hello PT !!!!

My stay at the hospital is finally over!! I still have to do lots of resting because that nerve that was pinched is damaged and needs to heal by itself. The surgeon said he removed lots of debris! All this stuff was constantly hitting my nerve there, so that operation was very urgent! The wound on my spine is healing very well and getting "itchy" . But the pain in my leg isn't much better yet. The nerve needs almost 6 months to heal!! .
But, with so many caring PT-friends, I know I can do it!!
My daughter printed out your replies every day, and they worked much better than a whole bottle of painkillers!! I cannot tell how much I missed all my friends here..... . Sometimes I was bored and said to myself: "Oh let's go and post on PT and chat on MSN !! But then I realised I was there in my hospital bed, not even allowed to get out for a visit to the toilet

I still won't be able to come on PT a lot, but I will do my very best, that is a promise!!

My little Snoops (and one of my feet, yeah )

Welcome home, Lut! With a nurse like Snoopy (isn't she just cute!!), I'm sure you'll be OK there on the couch, and I see you can even watch TV. Now, all you need is someone to bring you yummy snacks and drinks. Take it easy, Lut and heal well!

    Hugs and headbumpies from us.

    WELCOME HOME!!!!!

Looks like little Miss Snoopy missed you. I'm sure with your fur nurses you will get better in no time.

Rest, relax and let your body heal now. Enjoy the down time. And please, give that sweet Snoopy girl a hug from me - she's just so darn cute!!

    HUGS HUGS HUGS!!!!! WELCOME HOME!

At least the nerve will heal now...and your leg will get better! Too bad they couldn't have coated it with Teflon or something when they were in there!

I hope you feel better soon - even at the start, that painkillers actually help, and one day you will be like new!

With Nurse Snoopy on duty, is there any option?

    HUGS!

Welcome home Lut. So glad you were well enough to go home. Get
plenty of rest to speed the healing. It'll be spring before you know it and
maybe you can share garden pictures again. Can't wait.
