Lilly has been part of this group from its beginning. I'll never forget reading about *Lilly can't jump* and how her mom accommodated that concern which began years ago. Logan has been the Mother of Many and all have been loved with wild abandon, but I think Lilly may have been her mainstay in the family of fur and feathers.

Her battle was fierce and well fought but in the end, Lilly is gone. The empty spot will bring tears again and again. Only time and the grace of God will help this wound heal. Right now it is hard to envision how that will even be possible, but it will, and Lilly would want that. She knew how loved she was. No doubt ever entered her mind on that subject.

Goodbye, sweet girl. Thanks to your mom, we knew you and we loved you too.
