Nobody has posted Sublime yet. I love Sublime. If you download, I'll list some songs to download. Listen to them in the order I post, because Sublime is kind of an acquired taste. I will warn, lots of references to pot and guns.

HELP! I've fallen into a time warp! And I can't get out!
Who are all these people/ groups? Wait, I think I don't really want to know.
Music ended for me in the 1980's, I don't listen to much after that time. Before that, all the way back to the turn of the century, but not forward.

    What a wake up call!

    Honestly, do what I do...

Go to myspace.com - go under music. Pick a genre and listen to a band/group you've never heard of/listened to. I usually find something new I enjoy every day.

Based on some of the artists you listed I would suggest Kate Nash, think brit pop but way less cheesy. I would also suggest Sia, she has a voice similar to Nora Jones but she's way more edgy/bluesy. If you like artists like Ani DiFranco I highly reccomend Melissa Ferrick, she's an amazing folk musician with much better guitar skills than Ani.
    I've been Defrosted!

Thanks for the great signature Kay!

I'm sure hardly anyone shares my musical tastes here... well, you 30STM and 3DG fans will (I saw them both named at least once hehe) but my other musical tastes include bands like Static-X, Nonpoint, Spineshank, all bands which I think are "too hard" for the general population here (though I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of you loves them hehe).

    So my recommendations...

    Three Days Grace - http://myspace.com/threedaysgrace
Thirty Seconds to Mars - http://www.myspace.com/thirtysecondstomars
    (A Drop of) Red - http://myspace.com/8018804

Those are pretty much easy-listening compared to my other loves
