It's official - I have two new cats

I just thought I would make the official announcement that I am now a card carrying member of the crazy cat lady club. I think I did great adopting out two of my four backyard rescue kittens. I really believe it was fate for me to keep Moxie because when we discovered we missed the fourth kitten three weeks later he really needed a buddy to help him socialize and forget his already learned feral ways.

So on with the pictures of Moxie and Decker.

See how much bigger Decker is than Moxie. When he went for his final shots on Dec. 18th he already outweighed her by a pound.

Their new use for the Alpine Scratcher.

Decker is getting so big. He's at that lanky ackward state.

I just thought this picture was funny.

Hope you enjoyed seeing my two little guys. I think it's time for an updated "how many cats do you have" poll. And to think, Ripley was my one and only cat for over 10 years. Wow have things changed!

By the way, Decker has socialized nicely. He's my lap cat, never hisses or pops anymore and isn't afraid of much. He's a very gentle laid back little guy.

*snicker* Is anyone else shocked at this announcement?

Congrats Lori. You did good finding home for the other two. Now we have about the same track record: for every one that found a home, I kept one

Yes, I think you did a great job adopting out your backyard babies too! They couldn't have got better homes!

These pictures are hysterical. No wonder you wanted to keep these two. You must be having so much fun.

NOPE!!!! I was just waiting for it to become official!!!

Don't feel bad Lori...your not the only one....I can not talk...I'm up to 9 but would love to have an even number....of course Mark would KILL me if I ended up with one more.

I see how much they love their alpine scratcher......it looks like they do the same thing that Gracie and Dude does....take the scratcher part out and play with what's left. Must be a new game we don't know about.

    YIPPEEEEEE!! Congratulations to all!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

I was wondering recently how he was doing. Glad to hear he's mellowed.
