A breeders dog eared library is filled with breed magazines, every book ever written on their chosen breed, copious notebooks on every litter, and rounded out with books on breeding genetics, coat colors, training, whelping and years worth of show catalogs, margins overflowing with notes.
To train a dog you have to think like a dog!

A breeder is foggy on faces, but knows the pedigrees faster than a IBM computer.." lol.. Yup! I can easily recognize others dogs, while I flounder for their names... lol..
And applesmom- that is what my den looks like.. The kids call it the " dog library"... Six (6) book cases crammed filling a whole wall and half..
