    My garden pet...

    .. sort of.
    It is a spider that has taken residence in one particular spot. He/she has been there for around 6 weeks now. When it rains hard or a lot it takes shelter under one of the leaves of the bush where it's web is anchored on the left hand side. I've become quite fond of it.

    Those are pretty good pictures. Does you pet spider have a name yet?

    He pretty ingenious, anchoring the web onto a bush so as to have shelter from the storms!!!

    Looks like a female orb weaver of sorts. Males are skinny. I'll send you the ones from our house if you like, lol.

    Neat! I love sharing my yard with any kind of wildlife... spiders are one of my favorite(as long as the wild guys stay outside, everything is fine)!
