    Okay- HOLD UP.. I agree the posts got a little aggressive and missed your point. IN other words, the dog is now fine, the situation is solved ,but how do we clean the rug right?? I see you replaced it.
    I am also an "American" and we help others.. Not condem.. I have a Indian rug of pure wool, and if there is a stain it is awful to clean. I am glad the problem is solved, the dog is cared for, and things are normal now.. Right??
