    *~PICS from the Husky Hike~*

    The morning started off Chilly!! (Good day to be a Husky!! )


    No matter! Sierra couldn't WAIT to get there!


    HOLY HUSKIES!!!! I don't know yet how many were there, but there were LOTS and LOTS!!


    Puppies Too!!

    (I think she really wanted to take a Nap!)


    And we're OFF!!


    Sierra fit right in with the Husky Pack of Star and Sherman!


    Phred's Furkids!


    Sierra was tuckered out after the hike, she stayed under the picnic table while we ate lunch!

    It turned out to be a perfect day!

    Here's our "Score" of the day off of the silent auction:


    Poor Budd was left at home, so when Sierra and I got home we let him wear her medal she got for hiking and the bandana she got too!

    I was so nice to meet Pat and Jojoe and the fur kids!
    And very nice to see Anna, Roxey, Phred and the kids again!

    I didn't see any crappy pictures. I see some lovely pictures of some very beautiful doggies enjoying their day. It really does look like the furkids had a good time. I am glad that Sierra got to play "Husky" for the day. Those pups are cute, how did you manage to leave without one?

    Oh, and Buddy looks very handsome in the medal. I think he earned it for taking care of the house while everyone was off "hiking."

    Wow I wish I lived closer and my Van was running a little better. Looked like a beautiful day with beautiful dogs for a hike.

    Glad to hear you guys had fun! I really wish we could have come, but there were just things that needed to be done with weekend at home, since I will be out of town next week and then again the following week.

    How fun does that look! Looks like the kids and dogs alike had an awesome time! Thank god you posted a cuteness warning!! So many Huskies. Sierra is beautiful, she looks just like a husky. Buddy is sooo handsome!

    They look GOOD, Angie - but maybe a little "small".
    Did you intentionally "reduce" them in size before storing them?

    If I try to "speed up" Imagestation by reducing the photos BEFORE I send them
    to ImageStation - the quality does suffer.

    For some reason your posted (on Pet Talk) photos look "small" -
    320 x 240 is smaller than Imagestation usually produces for a post.
    "Usual" size for a post is ~ 450 wide x 338 high.

    Nice pictures, Angie! A little "photo journal!" It was so nice to meet yet another PTer, Sierra is such a doll, and even prettier in "person", than in her pics!

    This is a great set of photos, thanks for posting them! I really wish I could have been there, Nebo would have loved all of the huskies (me too!) Sierra fits in perfectly with them. Were the puppies for adoption or were they breeder pups? I would have wanted to bring one home!
