    I don't typically post on COTD but I could not resist today. Fergus you are SO beautiful! I had to do a double take to make sure I wasn't looking at the DOTD instead. I can't say I have ever seen a kitty fetch a stick, your my kind of guy, Fergus Congrats on your special day. May it be filled with all sorts of good things that make a a Fergus happy

    fergus, you little devil! who knew that there were beautiful kitties out there who were so rough and tumble? seeing you with that stick in your mouth gives furpickle some ideas for some games we could play---and fetch is so much fun! i'm glad that i've made such a playful and adventurous friend today, fergus!

    What a gorgeous cat you are Fergus. However, I must reprimand your parents for letting you outside. You can't hear trouble sneaking up on you, you poor thing. You can't hear approaching dogs or cars. Please stay safe and stay indoors. It would be a tragedy to loose such a lovely and prescious kitty.

    Damn! I like that Fergus! I like him a lot!

    Personally, I do not believe that Fergus is a cat who should ever have the outdoors taken from him. Perhaps his caretakers have provided him an environment that takes his safety into account. Also, I must note, that for both cat and man, the most safe life can also be the most sterile, and least satisfying.

    Go Fergus! Run Fergus! Get that stick, Fergus! Fetch that dead rat and snatch that dead pigeon! Enjoy your magnificent life!
