Update on Sassy (siamese rescue) with pics!

This is Sassy, the rescue with the short / broken tail! She has really come out of her shell now, and will let me hold and love her!!! She is a living doll! She even slept with me and hubby this weekend!!! I think she probably endured some terrible trauma that caused her tail to be so messed up and her to be so very scared. You can see her tail in some of these pics ... she can still wag it, and I think it is cute ... it just adds to her sassy purrsonality!

Awww...what a cutie she is! Wouldn't you just love to know the background of rescued animals - where they came from, and what happened to them? Poor things. I'm sure something happened to her tail (perhaps even getting shut in a door) which would explain her shyness. I'm glad she's coming around though! She sure is cute!

Lovely cat and lovely photos, Kim. Has your vet seen Sassy yet? I was wondering what he thought about her tail. Does it look like everything healed, although in a crooked way?

Oh Gosh Kim, Sassy is such a pretty girl. I'm glad to hear that she is coming out of her shell.

Do you think that her tail will have to be amputated or will it stay like that? Do you think it causes her any pain Kim?

Poor sweet thing. I don't even want to think what she must have gone through.

Oh Buddy, I don't know how any girl could resist you.

Sassy is so pretty! Poor little girl, I hate to think of what she went through before she found you.

Sounds like she is making herself at home with you. Give her some gentle scritches from me!

Sassy sure is a sweetheart, it just goes to show that there is love inside these poor rescues, they just want somebody to show them some love so they can give some back. She's lovely, and I hope she continues to come out of her shell and be a happy and confident little lady. Well done Kim on being such a star and rescuing her.I am so jealous! I wish I could have more cats!
