I've Never Seen Fenway So Dirty - Let's See Your Dirty Dogs!

I don't have pictures, but you have to believe me when I say Fenway was black this morning! We walked around the pond and he must have seen a chipmunk go into a hole. Well he dug & dug & dug until he hit water. Then he was digging in mud! He was BLACK! His whole head, chest, legs & belly were pitch black! It was funny to see and I wished I had my camera. He dug for about 45 minutes, stepped away from the hole for one second and the chipmunk ran out & up a tree.

When we got home I gave him a bath. The water was BLACK! Then he decided to shake! I give Fenway a bath in the kitchen sink. The whole kitchen had black spots all over it! I had to clean the kitchen after I cleaned the dog!

He now smells like oatmeal and he's back to his natural color.

LOL, whoa. Roxy or Lily aren't allowed to get that dirty, but Lily always gets things caught in her fur, so she can't hide the evidence that she's done something wrong easily.

I don't have any digital pictures of diry dogs, but several taken with my 35mm from years ago!!!!!!

I enjoyed reading that "chipmunk caper" , It would have made a great video !!!

LOL! Jasper doesn't get that dirty, but on the "big dog" side of the dog park there is a mole that always gets muddy and for some reason the big dogs love to lay in it and dig in it! When Jasper's not contagious anymore I'll take him and my camera over there and get some pictures!
