    Cadbury and Twinkle got neutered

Just to let you all know that Cadbury and Twinkle are now back from their visit to the vets. Their op was successful, feeling sorry for themselves though.

So glad to hear everything went ok for them....I was wondering. Maybe you should give them a treat for being such good boys. Did the vet say anything about keeping them confined for a few days while they are healing? I bet they would hate that even more....be prepared for a case of bunny pouts.

Yes I have some cocnut treats and Bunny pop corn that I can give them, that was a good idea if I do say so myself. The vet said that I could probably put them out in the rabbit run over the next few days, but to keep them from Ebony for about 2-3 weeks.

At the moment they are in their hutches and are as quiet as mice.

Poor babies!! They are probably afraid you'll have something else disconnected so are laying low so you won't notice them. I'm glad they made it through fine. I agree that treats may go a long way toward them forgiving you.

Poor babies! I'm sure that they will be back to their old self shortly. And with a few treats the recovery might be even quicker!

Awwwwwwwwww, why do you have to keep them away from Ebony? When Grey was fixed that very same day I put him back in with Gypsee.

After the males are fixed their hormone levels are still high and they can still produce babies. Ebony is not fixed so it would have been risky for me to put them together. Cadbury and Twinkle are still fighting.

I put them with Bunny as she has been fixed but Cadbury still tried to mount her.

They go back for a check up tomorrow.
