I am sharing an apartment before getting one of my own. During that time Felicia needs to stay with someone besides me

I wonder if your vet - if s/he knows your situation(esp financial), might know of someone who can take Felicia for a while, or even a really good boarding place that would be good for a senior kitty.

I don't know where you are located but if I were you I would look online and find every cat rescue in your area and see if they would be willing to foster felicia for you for short period of time. Also ask you vet if they could board her. There has to be someone willing to help poor felicia out. let me know where you live and I will see if i know anyone in your area.
