my two dogs vomit when going on a car ride

i got these two german shepherd pitbul mix, which are 3 months old, yesterday and on the ride from my aunts house to mine they vomited several times. Is anything wrong with them or were they just car sick?

freak out on their first car ride(s). Especially if their first ride is a long one. What you need to do is to put puppies in the car, and drive to the end of your neighborhood road and back home again a few times. Then start extending the car rides in time and distance. Desensitize them to car riding. Naturally you should not feed them dinner, and then take them on their rides.

Can't say I ever had this problem myself. My previous dog was content to take 1000 mile car rides snoring away in the back seat, only to awaken at the rest stops. With my current two all I have to do is say "car ride" and they both run and stand by the car. Dogs actually like car riding once they get use to it.
