    I'm amazed!

I've been feeding the fur kids raw at night. I'm totally blown away by how much better Diamond's teeth are looking. They were so dirty, I did brush them but it wasn't helping all that much. The raw food is, it's so exciting to see such a major change.

Thank you Kay for the beautiful sig!

Buck had a quarter of a chicken for breakfast.

They all had beef brisket and a pig tail for dinner, and Buck also had another quarter of a chicken.

Oo, lots of happy pups today. =0) I'm glad you are seeing such great results, Jadapit! That is awesome! I have definitely seen the same with Gonzo.

Gonzo & Fozzie ate goose today! I got him one to give to him over the weekend, but they finished off a rabbit instead, so I have a bunch of goose still.

    Gonzo ~
    goose breast with the bone
    hard-boiled egg
    fish oil
    goats milk

    Fozzie ~
    goose liver & lungs
    goose muscle meat
    hard-boiled egg
    fish oil
    goats milk

The pups just had one big meal of tripe today.. because I was too lazy to feed breakfast this morning. =P

I gotta say though, I love feeding raw. The other day I didn't have anything for dinner, so I took one of their chicken legs and cooked it for myself.

I FINALLY got my butt over to the Surrey Meat Packers and bought Bailey 60 pounds of beef for $40.00. It is ground up and includes muscle meat, fat, bones and organs - plus some other parts of the cow. It is cut into 1 1/4-2 pound portions, which makes it alot easier for me to bag them. He will be getting this for 20 days @ 3 pounds per day. We felt the extra pound of food he was getting probably didn't make much of a difference so we are cutting it down to 3 pounds.

He will still be getting REC bones for chewing and fish 1X per week. When this beef is done, I will be buying 44 pounds of chicken backs/necks for $29.00, plus another 50 pounds of either lamb, duck, buffalo or turkey (it is all ground and cut into portions as well) - they are insanely cheap there - and I just found out they sell rabbit for $5.99/pound.

He is going to be one happy boy!

I love Surrey Meat Packers! I need to place my order for 20 pounds of Tripe. Yum yum. I picked up the 44 pound box of chicken backs/necks, 10 pounds of buffalo, 10 pounds of beef and some organs for under $70 bucks. It would easily last us months. I was amazed!

Anywho, the boys had chicken bones today. I noticed some tarter on Kaedyn's teeth so they'll be getting more bones for the next little while.

I was going to get Chester the 44lbs of chicken backs/necks today, but he doesn't have enough room left in his freezer. I ended up getting him 20 lbs of pork bones, it was only $5. I also got him a duck carcass, some duck necks, a chicken carcass, and some dehydrated liver treats. I can't believe how cheap the prices are there!
