New colors added to the scroll list?

I think they've always been there, just not in the list, because in my signature I used a color that wasn't in the list and it still worked. In "old" HTML all you had to make colors were names, it would be near impossible to list ALL of them. Now we have hex codes but, back in the day (even I can say that... boy I feel old!).

They were added as part of the upgrade, so they've been there for quite a while now!

Here is the old colors list so you see they were already possibilities then, just not on the drop-down menu.

Yep, that's why I said new colors added to the scroll list - you can use just about any colors, but some aren't supported by all message boards.

After the upgrade, I noticed they were there, but a lot of them won't show well on a white background. However, it's nice to have more choice.

Sometimes you can make a color by goofing up.
This color is made by leaving the e off of darkorange!!!
I love it so use it a lot.

I experimented a bit, because it looked black to me as well. I loaded the page with Internet Explorer though and then it looks pink. With Firefox it looks black .

K9Soul, that's interesting ... the quote you posted with MOFF's text looks wollen to me, very much so in the Explorer example. Hmmm! I'm using Safari.

MOFF, try putting this [ color=#C12283] without the space inside the tag when you post, it looks quite similar to the one you like to use.

I prefer "correct" rendering of HTML and code, not what IE "thinks" it should be, hehehe.

It shows rose in Outlook express too! That's the one I was using when I "discovered" the color.

It's easier for me to just leave an e off then try and remember a code!!!!
