Tomorrow I will be having day surgery to remove the mass they found in my left breast. As it cannot be felt, only detected by mammogram, I really have no idea of how large it is or even exactly where it is. I am very nervous.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Of course you are apprehensive. Try to concentrate on the fact that you have access to the medical help you need to figure out if this is something that requires more intervention, and you are getting that help. This could be a life saving procedure or if not that something that you can forget about once it is over. Both are good things. Prayers for the best outcome possible as well as for you to be calm and relaxed.
