I want to introduce you all to Dozer, my big boy. Dozer is a dogue de bordeaux (aka French Mastiff - "Hooch" from the movie "Turner & Hooch") He just turned 2 years old and is ch. titled. We show him as a hobby (since neither my fiance nor I have time for full time showing) and just finished him last month. He's a big boy, weighs in currently at 138lbs and is still growing (although since he's 2, we're hoping he stops soon!). His sire was 161lbs and his dam 130lbs so we expect him to get a bit bigger. He has a 29 inch head and a 37 inch chest. But don't let his size fool ya! He loves everyone he meets and doesn't know the word 'stranger.' His breed was created as a guard dog and Dozer goes into 'guard dog' mode at night, which makes me feel safe when I'm home alone. We plan on getting a female ddb, but not until we move. There's no room at our current house for another giant. Here are a few pictures of him, he's my big boy.
First picture is my fav. puppy picture of him!
Doing what he does best, sleeping
Here he is on his first easter
A picture with his first medal from his first ever dog show! At 6 months old
And my favorite picture of him ever! (Taken about 6 months ago)
And last but not least, this was taken last month
And here's his online photo album if anyone wants to take a closer look at him:
