    Some Traditional Shanghai Food

    It`s "Qi Bao(means 7 treasured objects)Town" in Shanghai,which is famous with its 7 treasured objects.

    It`s has about one thousand year of history.

    There is several traditions about its seven treasured objects.

    The most famous and accepted is Qi Bao Town`s traditional Shanghai food.

    Braised mutton is choosed to be the sitotherapy in winter by Chinese.

    In the traditional Chinese medical science,the mutton is good for the people feel cold and his hands and feet often be cold.

    Very interesting.

    I was in Shanghai in 1982. I wasn't as daring about food as I am now. The mutton looks very good.
