    7 Weeks and 12 Weeks - WOW!

I'm amazed by how different Ryder looks at 12 weeks old. Just amazed, really. Can time slow down and I'd like him to stay little forever? I wish that could happen.

(December 7th) - 7 weeks old, day we brought him home!

    (January 16th) - 12 weeks old, yesterday!

He's starting to look like "dog" now. Sad when the puppy face goes. But he's still hugely kissable!!!!

That second picture is adorable. He looks like he's either half asleep or half in the bag

Ryder is so adorable! I agree, they should stay little puppies at least a year!

I know! His breeder told me that he looks JUST like his mom when she was a puppy. Crazy! So we think he will end up looking like her. We actually will be taking him to the vet on Friday and we will see how much he weighs! Last time we took him to get him medication about his eye sty which was 2 weeks ago, he was at 16 1/2 lbs.

LOL, he definitely pulls that one on us all the time! I've figured out when his eyes are droopy like that, he's half asleep or just tired!

So adorable! I just want to pick him up and hug the stuffing right out of him. What a sweet dog.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
