I just dropped sweet little Hobo off at the vet. He's getting the big snip, as hubby calls it today. The infection in his front leg is gone, he's weightbearing on all four paws now and is the happiest little dog ever. But I've never been so worried about a simple neuter surgery. Hobo has been through enough already. I don't think either of us can take something else
going wrong!!!! However, this has to be done. I have no plans to ever breed him. I don't do puppies anymore--Thanks to Earle for curing that longing!! My alpha male dog, Muskwa, will not tolerate an unaltered male in his pack. Hobo desperately wants to play with the other dogs. He will love the pen--the one he's supposed to go into is over an acre fenced. He'll have a great time in there once he's recovered. This is the last thing that
has to be done before he can be integrated into the pack.
Please keep your paws crossed that this routine surgery stays routine today!!
