Icarus

Icarus was put to sleep this past Saturday. His tumor had gotten so big, and the vet didn't want to go through with the surgery. It would have caused him more pain than it was worth. We had Christmas dinner on the same day. It wasn't very festive for me.

Icarus was my second rat... He was such a sweet boy; Just the sweetest most gentle and darling rat ever. He was so sensitive and loving. I will miss him so much, and so will Tobias and Oliver. He was their father figure...he was such a good boy to them. He was a lone rat for over two years, and he still welcomed them into his home and loved them. He was just so gentle.

Icarus will be buried beside Sara and Frisco up at Darley Retreat.

Jordan, your heart must be breaking in two. I'm so very sorry about Icarus. RIP little rattie and watch over Jordan for us.
