    There was snow on the ground....does that count?

    We did that at my first job in Milwaukee between Christmas and New Year's...John P. grilling burgers and brats in a snowstorm!

    It never rains in Southern California, so knee high snow only exists in movies and photos.

    I have been in Southern California when it was precipitating! It was only what we in the NorthEast would call a light drizzle, but Venice Beach was very quiet, very few people, and Paul explained to me that that counted as a rainstorm in So. Cal!
