Because I got them up so late, again, and did not have a chance to post them on Facebook, Twitter, etc., I will change the day on the page and make them tomorrow’s honorees as well.

    Please see the prayers thread.

I will not be able to update the sites today - chaos reigns. I will update over in the prayers thread, but Lulu is doing well.

Sorry, I will be updating the sites today. I had a bad food reaction that Kermit worries was actually COVID, and am getting a COVID test today just to be certain.

So basically the weekend was too busy, then I spent Monday puking, and Tuesday sleeping and driving to get a self-administered "instant" COVID test that is not "instant' after all, and isolating. When I have one of those reactions, it is exhausting. Kermit's fears are not unreasonable - we were at a wedding Saturday evening where there we many (proudly?) unvaccinated people, and the reception was a potluck, which is always a minefield for someone like me, who has many food allergies and intolerances. Apparently I was not careful enough.

Thrilled to hear it wasn't COVID!!! That said, food reactions/puking is not fun. But the "good news" (if you can call it that) is you had someone to hold your head! Seriously, just hope you're back to 100% soon! Take your time with the "pets," Karen. Health comes first!

Sadly, I did all my puking at work, in the Post Office bathroom. Alone - and glad of it. I had a haircut before the funeral on the 16th, and while it is still long when wet, it is even curlier, so didn't hang in "the way" of anything!

I am so sorry everyone, I got interrupted again, and now it's so late, I will make the pets that were to be today's honorees tomorrow's, and get them up tonight. Consider the Dog of the Day icon a foretaste.

So glad it wasn't COVID! Karen, take it easy, get nice and rested up. Kitties and I hope you are feeling better and back to 100% soon.

I'm with Sandra: Take your time with the pets, Karen. Your health comes first!

Today's Dog, Cat and Pet of the Day are now up!

Thank you, folks, for not giving up on me.

I still do not have my COVID test results, though feel pretty normal.
