awwwwwwww Is he blue?? He looks a lot like a neapolitan mastiff with those ears! I never knew English mastiffs came in blue!

I think he is a Neapolitan mastiff. I'm pretty sure thats what my son said he is. I guess he will grow up to weigh around 250 lb's. Can you imagine? Did you see the movie Turner and Hooch? I believe it was a Neapolitan mastiff in that movie.Originally posted by Suki Wingy

Nope. the dog in Turner and Hooch was a Dogue de Bordeaux. or they also called French Mastiffs

I was going to breed neapolitans in the futurebut they are really hard to breed so I think I'll stick to just one some time in the far future. They are really sweet as a breed and are known for their sweet and happy temperment, bespite their baggy silly looks.

I'm sure "Fang" from the Harry Potter movies is a Neopolitan Mastiff. Not sure if he is in the books though, can't really remember.

Yeah, I think it is in the book, Maria... but Im not sure, I should read them again...... I love Neapolitan Mastiffs....they are so cute!!!
