Getting 11 dogs this weekend PICS

    - Yes 11 new dogs coming in this weekend. A group we work with in South Carolina had 85 puppies come into the shelter within a week, so we have agreed to take 10 pups and one adult dog. I thought I would share some pictures:

Four Cuties - not sure exactly which ones, but they said they were all "fluffy":

Chynna - Boxer mix (6 months old)

Jonnelle - Irish Setter mix (4 months old)

Misty (1 year old and HW+) - she has an adopter waiting for her already.

Pudge - isn't he just adorable???

    Finn, 3 month Corgie mix

    More to follow ...

Bart - tiny boy, they think a Chi Mix

    Rosie - a beagle mix

They have so many wonderful dogs there that just never have a chance, so we are happy to help get them out and get them placed. So far we already have 20 applications on all of them and we are frantically getting their reference checks and home visits done - What a week!!!

Wow! What wonderful work you and the other volunteers do. There is just no way all of these little ones would have found suitable homes so quickly with so many other dogs to compete with where they were. It's a good thing you told us Bart had several applications or I would have been at your house this weekend.

    Oh my goodness!
I don't think I can handle all the cutness!!

I'm glad that they are going to be in safe hands now Clara!

An Irish Setter mix! My aunt has been looking to rescue an Irish Setter for ages. So cute.

OH my goodness!! I wish you weren't across the country from me. A couple of those dogs might be of interest to my friend that is looking to adopt a puppy. But we've got plenty on this coast as well.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

They are all adorable! Good luck finding them all homes! It shouldn't be a problem!

They are all so cute!!! I can't even decide who my favortie is!! First I thought is was Chyna, then I saw Jonnelle. Pudge has such interesting markings, and Rosie is just alittle sweetheart!!

I'm sure you will find the perfect home for each and evey one of them!

Sadly - Chynna got very ill on the transport (Parvo) and died the next morning. Fortunately, we knew immediately when she arrived that she was ill so the other pups were not exposed, but she was too ill to save.

Run free at the bridge sweet girl, I wish we had more time to help you.
