I took some pictures yesterday of the shelter dogs.

this is Goliath - he's a husky mix and
I LOVE this dog. he's so cool and so
sweet and not to mention a great looking dog!


his eyes are so mezmerizing!

this is Cyrus - he came in with Goliath
and lived with him.
this dog is SO cool!
He's a great dane/
german shepherd
mix. we say great dane because he's HUGE at
only 11 months! he's a lot of fun.

this is Licorice a handsome black lab that was adopted
about a year ago but the wife is severely allergic.
he is such a snow dog!

this is Barkley - he's an awesome,
cute 5 month old pit bull puppy
he's so much fun to be around!

next is Maine, Chowder,
and Dulley.
Maine is a lab/border collie pup,
Chowder is a shepherd mix,
and Dulley is a lab/terrier mix puppy.
we have them go out together they
have a blast so I managed to get a few cute
shots of them rough housing in the snow.

and last but certainly not least
this is Juno
she's an english setter puppy.
She was abandoned on a highway
in the cold at 4 weeks of age.
she's about 7 weeks now. she's so cute.

I want Barkley!! =) Hes handsome. Love the brown w/ white chest.
I could never work at a shelter.. I'd bring them all home..
Of course, thats how I got my first dog, Pepper, as my mom had me volunteer for the Humane Society... =) little did she know, we'd come home with a dog.. lol

Wow, those are a great bunch of dogs - I would take them all too but I think my favorites are Goliath (so beautiful) and Klamath (always wanted a chocolate lab. Where are you located? _ I am coming after Juno (lol - I wish I could).

They are all so adorable. It just breaks my heart to think they do not have a loving home. I have been thinking about volunteering at a local shelter, but I'm not sure if I can. I would be so sad and probably cry all the time and want to bring them ALL home with me. I guess I could just make sure to wear waterproof mascara and give them as much love as I can while I'm there.

He is SO handsome! I'd scoop him up in a heartbeat if I could!
Oh those eyes...I could stare into them all day long!
