    Cat insomnia?

My cat has this odd habit of waking me and my wife up @3:30-4:30 almost every morning. He will scratch the door frames, jump on the TV which makes noise, meow excessively and chew on plastic. It usually takes around an hour before he calms down and goes back to sleep. Anybody heard of this before?

Sorry ..... Kitties can't tell time... I have used the phrase "It's Bed Time" to let them know its time to settle down for the night, it usually works. When they forget and start jumping around the bedroom, I use a FIRM.. "COOL IT" and snap my fingers, it took a week or so to get the point across but it totally works for these guys.. and I have 8 babies...

If you knew him, you would swear he could tell time. We've tried everything imaginable. It's safe to say that he would challenge even the most experienced of cat owners. The best thing that has worked so far is trying to keep him up during the day, but even then it's rare he sleeps straight through the night.
