    New horse

She's not mine, but this is Twiggy. She's the horse I've been riding in my lessons lately.

She's...interesting. I don't really like her, haha. She kept trying to take off with me to the jumps yesterday, resulting in looooong leaps, so my trainer had me stop her in front of jumps any time she started ignoring me. Twiggy didn't like that...we had a few bucks and head tossing. But it worked!

    After:

After I got off Twiggy spooked and landed on my toes...one may or may not be broken. -_-

Anyways...there's Twiggy for ya We don't get along but she's good for me. I have to ride her a lot harder then I'm used to, aaaand she can jump 3' [which we've been doing lately].

    Ouch re the toe!

Now, is the Trainer training YOU, or are both of you training Twiggy?

Nice job, good that you recognize the benefits of a "challenge,"

She is a beauty! And a challenge, too - think how much better a rider she is making you!

Yeah. It wasn't until this week that I grudgingly agreed that Twiggy is good for me, because I really don't like riding her. Ah well, if it means that down the line I can become a good enough rider to ride more difficult horses...then I guess I'll do it.
