    Cut Gum

This is probably the strangest thread lol. I think I brushed too hard the other week

Can a tear in the gum line above my tooth heal on their own or do I have to go to the denist? EKKK

I think it will heal on it's own. How big of a cut is it?

-thank you Poppy for the avatar.

  6. I think itll heal on its own too. ive had plenty of cuts and those canker sores(SP?) and they all healed up on their own.

to help speed up the healing wash your mouth out at lesat 3 times a day with Listereen,, or dump some salt into a cup of water and stir it,, and wash your mouth out with that... both those helps with healing stuff like that.

Ouch! I also think it will heal on its own. If it's very painful, I've found that spraying sore throat spray helps deaden the pain. Not to take you there, but I get cold sores on my gums all of the time due to stress, and I use that sore throat spray all of the time! Holding a Tylenol on the spot also helps, but it tastes nasty.

    **hugs**
