    Raven update...

Today was the big day for Raven. She had to be able to jump by this morning or it was back to the vet. She jumped on her doghouse! and she did it without screeching. She hesitated. I think she was expecting it to hurt, but she did it with no problems.

I just talked to her vet and we've decided to delay x-rays as she seems to be improving. She needs to be sedated for x-rays and I like to avoid sedation if at possible. Instead she's going to take two more days of Meloxicam. Then we'll watch and see if she goes downhill again without the anti-inflammatory. If she does, x-rays will be done right away. If not, we will assume it was a major muscle sprain.

In any case, she can't pull for at least another 10 days. I am going to put her back in with Deuce tonight. She's going squirrelly with no one to play with and he's not happy without his girlyfriend. I'll keep them seperated most of the time until Monday, but they need to be together for a little while.

Great. I hope it gets completely better.

Good news on Raven!! Good girl, take your meds and feel much better so you don't need to be sedated for xrays.
