Update on the Young and Old with Pics!

    Hey everyone!

I finally got some new pics of my two babies and thought it was time for an update on them. Well they are both doing pretty good. Kalypso I call a 'traiter' now because as she's grown she likes my mom more than me (only because I'm not here alot) and she doesn't like to cuddle much. She does come up to me for rubbins on the head and back though.

She is now 6 months old and will soon be tooken in for her spaying. Although she has still not come into heat yet I think its because she is a runt. She still looks like she is a kitten, she is such a tiny cat, but its cute. I've never seen such a tiny cat before. And her names still suits her cause she is as wild as ever

Bobo is doing pretty good. Just a few days ago I was pretty sure his UTI was coming back. I called the vet hoping that because I know all the symptoms and so does the vet that they could sell me some clavamox without an appointment, but they want an appointment unfortunately. So I've been giving him lots of wet food everyday again, and I think I caught it in time and its going away He seems to fine again.

Now that it is basically winter, he is cuddling up to the fireplace all the time and to me of course. Anyways onto some awaited pictures!

In front of the fireplace (there were still small embers in it)

Kalypso lays the weirdest way for a cat. Her favorite way to lay is on her back with her body half twisted, but it makes for really cute pics.

Haha get that flashy thing out of my eyes!

And lastly, together they get bored.

    Hope you enjoyed!

What wonderful photos! You have 2 darling kitties there.

I too have a "traitor." Vita was MY cat for 4 years. Dad moved in with us and in a matter of WEEKS she became his! I am clearly a mere servant in her life at this point. He he.

Update on the young and old

BoBo and Kalypso are beyond gorgeous! Groucho and I hope that BoBo is on the mend & will be back to his usual sweet self in no time. I love the pictures of Kalypso! I'm always amazed at the positions our darling kitties get themselves into and still be comfortable especially when they're sound asleep.

Could I ask you to deliver lots of scritchies and lovies to your beautiful furkids from me?

BEAUTIFUL pics, Kalei! Uncle Bobo is such a good match for little Kalypso!

Sounds like you caught Bobo's infection - if he gets some wet food every day, mix a little warm water in with it. That will help keep him hydrated.

That can easily happen in an older kitty - and also to people as the weather gets cooler and we turn the heating up a bit.

If you talk to your vet again...ask about adding a tiny bit of cranberry powder from a capsule to Bobo's food for about a month. I did that with Oscar, but only on the vet's advice.

HUG those lovely babies for me!

Bobo and Kalypso wants to thank everyone for all their wonderful compliments and comments. And Kalypso wants everyone to know that yes Bobo is a very good uncle....but she whispers under her breath that she sometimes wishes he was more young and playful

I will give them lots of scritches for you momcat
