    Thursday #704 - Happy New Year 2018

Hello, anyone here? Thought I'd open up the bar early for New Year's eve. It's cold and snowing. Hot water is on for tea, coffee, hot chocolate.

Do you have mulled wine? "Gluehwein" is excellent for warming up.

I'm drinking tea because it's really cold outside. Happy New Year!

Thanks, we've gotten blizzarded, so any hot drinks would be good. Maybe some mocha cocoa, with marshmallows? I have a batch of cardamom coffee chocolate chip shortbread cookies all set for Sunday, if anyone wants some. Last time I made them, they were an experiment - I liked them so much I made them again!

I'm late to the bar, and I have a cold...how about a hot toddy?

I love Earl Grey. Never had Double Bergamot, is it even stronger than regular?

It is more fruity - you can really taste the citrus.
