Hannah's Dance Recital

Hannah had her dance recital today. She wasn't so keen on the audience and got a little weepy. It doesn't help that she's got something going on with her ear. she's on meds but they don't seem to be taking away the ear infection but she was chipper this morning and was excited to go so we went. so anyway she didn't really want to dance in front of the audience (which I predicted would happen months ago lol) but she really came around later in the recital.

she loved her recital costume and loved being all dressed up and sparkly lol and despite not wanting to participate in the recital she does LOVE dance class and her teacher.

BUT THEN.... after all the dancing they gave all the girls Medals and a certificate and Hannah was ALLLLLLLL about that. she perked right up when I told her she was getting a necklace lol

you can see her running to her teacher when they called her name and everyone laughed lol






AFter getting her "necklace" her teacher asked if she wanted to stand on her star with the other girls and she said OK. AFter standing there for a few seconds she said "ACtually... I think I'm going to go sit with my mommy" which incited MUCH laughter from the crowd (and not the first time she got such a reaction from the crowd that day... she didn't dance but she certainly performed LOL)

AFter the recital she gave her teacher a thank you card and her teacher was telling her how proud of her she was that she tried

OMG! I can't believe how big Hannah's getting! I know I say that every time you post her picture. She is SO aadorable and such a girly girl! I love it! She looks precious in her outfit, and the red shoes? Well! Such a little princess!! Hannah's dance teacher looks like a wonderful person and excellent with children!

Thank you She certainly is a beauty... in my biased opinion HAHA.

her teacher is wonderful. Hannah adores her. There was one class where her teacher was out sick and they had someone else come in to cover the class and Hannah was SO upset. she had been talking about her teacher ALL day and was so disappointed when she wasn't there that she just broke down in a puddle of tears lol. So to say she likes that teacher is an understatement haha. The teacher is really great with the kids and she does an incredible job with them at every class. the girls all love dance class.

The summer program starts in July and Hannah is going to have a different teacher this time. I think we will go in early to meet her so hannah can get used to the idea that it's not going to be Ms Elaina this time lol.

I love when lil kids do that.. lol.. when they won´t dance or sing.. but they do give a great show.. they are soooo adorable!!!..
