Welcome to the forum. If a Mom can't brag about her kid, who can!! She sounds wonderful! What's her name? Two of my favorite breeds blended into one. The part of her that says "I know, I know" (I'm special) is definitely the lab part!

    Hi Breezybabe01,

My first very own dog was also a Lab/GSD mix. Her name was Kelsey. She was black and had 'flying nun ears', soooo cute. She was protective of her house and people, but was very friendly otherwise. She passed away 4 years ago from cancer. I still miss her.

I have a black lab pedigree and my mum is obcessed with GSD's so in our house you have to like both breeds. I personally love labs, mine is called Pepsi, she is so smart. I take her obedience training every week and she is the best there. Just to prove to everyone at our club of how clever labs are I took her to a championship show and she qualified for obedience at Crufts in the UK.
So that proves that labs are better than collies.
