*BUMP* we went on holidays and my Dad "sold her" I don't think he really did, I think his "friend" who had tried stealing her before did it when we were on holidays. I know my Dad would never sell our dogs. He and Sky didn't get along well but he still loved her, my family could tell.

My mom and dad had a dalmation when I was about 8 years old. One day my mom accidently ran over her. We was going to take her to the vet but it was too late. My mom really felt bad about running over her.

None of our dogs were aloud to run without no leash after that.

What are the colors dals come in? So far I know black, liver, tricolored, and brindle spotted. I volenteer at a shelter, and one of my favorite dogs of all time was Sophia, a dal mix. I have no picture of her though.

This is the only Dalmation I've ever owned. Hershey was a liver spotted Dal. We loved her very dearly! She was soooooo attached to me that while My husband and I were in seperate vehicles driving from GA to Ky to move...she tried to jump out of his trucks window when she saw me in the truck in the lane next to them on the interstate. We had to actually pull over and let her ride with me just so she'd be happy! She was SUPER protective of me. I will never forget my dear Hershey!!

ok, sorry this is so old, but I was bored and so I searched the past threads. I love the paisley kennel as well as their awsome color page. I was wondering if Sammy101 meant liver when she said chocolate. There are also orange, brindle tris, mosaics (not really a color, just when they have one or two spots of a different color from the rest) and occasionally a longhaired pops up. Am I forgetting anything?

And you can get blue, ghost (white), and I believe you can get lilac, though I'm not sure.

My Aunt used to have a lot of Dals, I really like them and I think the long coated and orange spotted ones are neat!!
