The very strong "puppy breath" will go away with time, though you'll miss it after it's gone. You can try brushing his teeth with dog toothpaste and also giving him greenies to chew on. They do make dog mints and I have some liquid I put into my dogs water that is supposed to help with the breath and also tartar.
What kind of food is he getting? Switching to a super premium food (innova, ca natural, wellness, etc.) can help eliminate breath and body odor.

If you're already feeding this food, I apologize! I've never had a puppy, so I don't know what breath is normal.
Try buying charcoal biscuits. They will really help. Sometimes you can find them in bulk -- they are the black ones.
I've been BOO'd!
I give Gracie Old Mother Hubbard Give Me a Kiss treats...you can get them at PetSmart...I love the puppy breath and do miss it! she is 8 months old now and its gone..sniff sniff~~
Hmm...Lexi still has it, shes 10 months old!
I *love* puppy breath.
We have Yip-Yap breath fresheners for dogs, although I am not sure that they even work!
