    ACK!! what a scare!

While I was in the shower this AM, my Maggie pulled a small tube of Neosporin off the table and chewed it. I know it's poisonous to humans if swallowed but didn't know a thing about it on dogs. So I called the vet right away and said it was alright and I may notice a bit of diarrhea in her stool...WHEW!!! But isn't it strange that it's not a problem for dogs...WEIRD!!! Here's a pic of the victim (sorry it's blurry, the camera wasn't cooperating):

Wow, that is a huge scare. I'm glad that Maggie will be okay except for diarrhea.

It is very weird that it is toxic for humans but not all that bad for dogs.

Puppers will get into the weirdest things won't they??

Silly Maggie!!! I bet you found out that doggie treats taste MUCH better than Neosporin!!

Glad to hear she'll be fine!

Wow! I would have been having a heart attack. Glad its not poisonious. Doggies find the most interesting things to chew on, don't they?

I learned the hard way, gotta keep those "things" WAY up out of reach!!! My Star seems to be able to reach everything she shouldn't! Thank goodness Maggie is ok! I remember once asking the vet about Neosporin, as the cats and dogs will often try to lick areas treated with it. He said it shouldn't do any harm except as you say, maybe upset their stomachs if they ate enough. Hope Maggie is feeling ok!
