    Yesterday was a bad day

Yesterday I cleaned up blood, mud, vomit and poop and was on fever patrol.
    Bandit was bleeding,
Killian brought in mud on all his paws and tracked it all over before I caught him,
My daughter has the stomach flu,
My son has the flu with a fever,
    I was totally run down.

I took Bandit to his vet and Killian to his.
My daughter saw her doctor and my son saw his.

Today everyone seems to be on the mend.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!! I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT YEAR!!!!

What a woman you are Sue!! Now, as for Killi getting mud everywhere...imagine this...20 dogs X 4 paws = 80 muddy paws and a backyard that has only about 1/4 of its grass and all the snow melted in one day and rained at the same time.

Now imagine this...I'm sitting in my computer chair typing and 62 pound Max has crawled up in the chair behind me and is currently resting his butt on the back of my neck with is front paws on the arms of the chair!! lol

Well, I guess your family must be getting rid of all the left over bugs so they can start the New Year out fresh and healthy. Take care, Sue. Remember Moms can't get sick!

mugsy ... I've done that calculation, too.

    11 dogs X 4 paws = 44 paws - 1 paw for Queenie the three-legged dog = 43 paws

43 paws X 20 trips outside per dog per day (we have a doggie door!) = 860 paw prints per square foot per day

860 paw prints per square foot per day X 2,000 square feet in the house = ...... oh, I can't bear to actually finish, I would cry.

Suffice it to say, my floor gets swept and mopped a LOT! (But not nearly as much as it should!)

Wow! Sue, how do you do it?

I am not sure what is going on with your foster, Bandit. I have been away for over 10 days. I am going to have to catch up.
