I'm in shock and I'm so sorry to hear this. Thanks for letting us know about her and I hope that Gini will continue to recover well and feel better so she can finally go home. Lots of prayers and positive thoughts are being sent her way.

That's so scary! Get well soon, Gini. People living by themselves (of any age) should get one of those person-down pendants like LifeAlert.

Oh no. I am glad she seems to be on the road to recovery. I will keep her in my thoughts.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

I believe Life-Alert only works if you are conscious enough to push the button, sadly. Thank goodness she had someone who cared enough to come by and find her!

This took my breath away.. I am praying for Gini. She has comforted and been there so often for others. I hope she will feel the love and prayers coming her way now.

I keep asking myself the same question Sara - as you know I'm very guilty of not keeping in touch with you. I'm going to make it a priority in 2012 to change my ways.

I do not know any more details but I know that she lives with her older brother who is with her 24/7 so I suspect that he was the one to call the ambulance. Again, not sure but it's a hunch.

Just called the hospital - she was discharged yesterday. Friday the 13th is always a good day for me and this is a great way to start.
