Good girl, Taboo! You just keep eating your food and getting better. Your Meowmie is very proud of you!

Great news on the "grouchy" Taboo. Has she purred at all yet, or mellowed?
She is a sweetheart who deserves the best - she has every reason to be grouchy after a long and hard life.

Well done, Taboo! Keep on keeping on, sweetie!

Thanks all.
She did not eat well tonight, but she had quite a day. She was REALLY upset about getting that stitch out. She growled and grumped more than her usual.
She is not much of a purrer, but every once in a while.
She is all "bark" with very little bite. I mean, with all she has been through, she could easily decide to just attack teeth first, but she never does.
She lost only 3 ounces, which is good. Now hopefully she'll hold the wieght or maybe gain some back.
.
I'm glad to hear she's healing well and I hope she'll continue to recover quickly.
Taboo's eye is healing. Vet says the corneas heal SLOWLY.
It has been almost 1 month, and she will continue to get the eye meds for at least 3 more weeks.
But she gained some of the weight back that she had lost, and is doing as well as any 17+ year old cat I know.
.
Also great news about Taboo, Jen. Yes, my Yodie's cornea took a great while before it was healed.
Blessings,
Mary
