Jen, I'm so sorry to hear about Bonnie. I'm glad that she's finally eating well and I hope that she'll continue to do so. I also hope that she'll heal quickly and never be in pain again. My thoughts and prayers are with her.

She ate less this morning, because I tried a different food. Market Select is the winner again.....gotta go buy more.

She is certainly feeling good though, I can tell.

Bonnie saw the vet today for a quick peek in her mouth. She is healing well, with just a tiny bit of pus in one area.....we will be giving a little more antibiotic for this.

Her jaw is healing well. And she can probably go back to her beloved dry food in another week. and BTW, she did eat this morning.

There is one tooth left in the back of her jaw that was not removed.....the swelling of the goms caused it to be hidden. It may need to come out at some time in the future.

Oh, and she has not lost weight, so even with being picky with her food she is holding her own.

That's wonderful news, Jen!! I'm happy for you and Bonnie!

BTW, my Katz had no problems eating dry food without her teeth.

Sure, you could drop them off.....but don't knock yourself out, I know you're a busy lady.

Jen, I'm so sorry I didn't see this before. Poor Bonnie, I'm cringing here at the thought of her dental, but so glad that she is bouncing back so quickly. What a good girl she is to take her medicine so well.

It was so good to read that Bonnie was eating again. I'm sorry she is 'off' the Market Select today. Are you able to add some water to her dry food and microwave it so it gets soft? I did this for Jimmy when I ran out of Gastro wet and he seemed to like the crumble soup I made for him. LOL

Bonnie is unpredictable. Some times she eat it all, sometimes she doesn't.
I am going to try the RC baby cat dry later today. And I figure she can start reduglar dry food soon.

    Silly cat.
