Richard, have you discovered this site?

Each day it lists the MLB channel schedule. I have added it to my toolbar, so I can check it first thing every morning. Someone on another board I visit said that the MLB channel will be broadcasting 3 Spring Training games/day.

God is good, and baseball is forever.

NO, I'll have to check it out.

    God, forgive her!

I have been peeking into the Carribean Series....

Good games, Mexico lost last night in overtime. While you watch the games check out the stadium organ and taped music and exactly when it plays.

IT's more amusing than all get out.

    Spring is here - almost

    It begins -

For the faithful, spring has finally begun.

While the weather may not show it, the unofficial countdown to Red Sox opening day began at 2:30 Friday afternoon, when the Red Sox equipment truck left Fenway Park, loaded with bats, balls, and sunflower seeds, and began the long drive down to the team’s spring training complex in Ft. Myers, Fla.

89-year old Red Sox icon Johnny Pesky hobbled over to the cab of the massive 18-wheeler that will haul the team’s equipment the 1,480 miles to the spring training complex. He clambered in and started the truck’s engines.

"See you at Fenway in April. Let’s go!" shouted Pesky as he turned the truck’s keys.

Great stuff...baseball does keep a person young.

Mexico lost the Carribean title to Venezuela last night. It was a really great series. I loved the crowds and I am really looking forward to the WBC. THe championship series will be played at D Stadium!

I hate the Dodgers more every day.
They announced that the TOP minor league club is the Albequergue Isotopes.

ISOTOPES? Where did the Dukes go?

Also the McCourts will host a Mex league game (read: more money in the coffers or anything for a buck) during the regular season. I would love to go, but hate the thought of them making money off of me.

Why is it that baseball players are almost like our politicians?

    Jeez o' pete!

HOw stupid can you be to do an interview, deny ever using 'roids, then have to backtrack?

I have to use the line that someone said about B Bonds....How can someone who is at the top of his profession never question what he was doing/using in his body?

I really cannot stand Bonds and want to see him get hung out for his 'roid use.
    Why?

Because of the way he treated the media, his teammates and the fans......

    diehard Pirate fan

I'm hoping ths year the Pirates can at least a .500 season. Maybe some fallout from the Steeler's victories can give them some momentum this year.

WHAT A GREAT ENDING to last night's USA v. Puerto Rico matchup.

    The neighbors knew somebody won!

    ----------------------

Darvish got kicked in the first few innings in the late game!

But it was still a good outing.

Curt Schilling is retiring. He went to Boston to end a Curse - and he did just that. Sometimes he seemed like a bit of a blowhard, but as Dizzy Dean once said 'It ain't braggin' if you can do it." Schilling wasn't bragging.

Could he have stretched the truth once or twice?

GREAT FINISH to the WBC last night.

Extra innings and Darvish came in with that slider to finish off the game.

    Congrats to the Japanese!

    RIP - George Kell

George Kell died in his sleep today. He was 86. From everything I've ever heard or read, he was one of the nicest people on the face of the earth.

Not even a week into the season and the Angels already have bad luck roaming the grounds.

A 27 year old fan was killed in a fight during the opening day game. He got into a dustup with another moron, was smacked from behind, hit his head and dies....

Today a 22 year old pitcher for the team was killed in a hit and run accident.
