I'm sorry Kimmy....I sorta forgot about you being a NAscar fan too...and adventure seeker after the skydiving (which we may need some details on...did you do that in Detroit?) Anyway, I should have asked you to come along!

Ralph is thinking next year he may try driving. If anyone else is interested in driving or riding, or just going along, let me know! It does become more affordable when you know the school owner

I was thinking Debbie and Kyle, but hey, whatever!!

I was thinking about sending Sean a link to the pictures, but then I thought I might have to edit first...maybe I'll just send a few from the track individually

    Fans crash supercar

A £250,000 supercar crashed on its first public test drive after two fans persuaded a garage manager to let them take it for a spin.

The 420bhp Veritas RS III - built as a prototype by the Vemot AG company - had been on display at a car dealership in Moenchengladbach, Germany.

Fans Martin Holtz, 44, and Friedrich Voller, 53, persuaded the manager to let them take it for a spin.

But they lost control of the V8-engined motor - which does 0-62mph in just 3.2 seconds - within minutes and ploughed into a lamppost.

Police arrested them as they tried to flee the mangled wreck, now being salvaged by mechanics.

"The car is immensely powerful and they grossly overestimated their driving skills," said a police spokesman.

This would never happen to a PTer.

LIke who is Kyle Busch and what does he want from us?

    What's going on there?

    --------

Slow and steady wins the race,
But what does that have to do with the championship?

The worst thing for NASCAR is to have someone like KB dominate the regular season, then have JJ stomp the field, and win the Cup with races left in the season.

Maybe have the top ten guys drive backwards for the CUP?

Another rough weekend for JGR...don't know what is going on there!

But what a great finish. Just wish JJ hadn't won!

I don't want to see a 3-peat. I'm rooting for the Bif for the championship, with Mr. Ed coming in 2nd. (They must have brainwashed me in Florida last year! I can't believe I'm rooting for Rousch!)

My brother was an JG fan until......You need help for this treatment!
Lie on your side and place a funnel in the ear canal. Pour some Valvoline 5-30
    into it. not a lot..........just a smidge.

That should help. Of course I had to hold my brother down while my niece and nephew poured...

    Aww that's okay Amy.

My cousin in law got to drive a race car at MIS. It is something that I thought would be fun to try.

As far as skydiving, we went here:
    Midwest Freefall - http://www.midwestfreefall.com/

    Also, congrats to Tony!!

Yeah, Phred I could hear the joyful noise from the north (Amy) and the south (Anna) (and inside my house- Carl) about Tony! And boy would thre have been a real noise if they had given the win to that other guy who did somethin he hadn't oughta. (see how much I know about racing - and you might like to know that I only saw the last lap, too)
