Moosmom, I'll try to get an address for you. If it comes down to it, I'll just PM you my address and I'll have my dad give the letter to Rob himself. I do think that hearing from a cancer survivor would help a lot.

One good thing about the liver is that it is one organ that can regenerate. 34% is a very good percentage for her right now; I know 100% would be better, but I'm just trying to stay positive.
Yup, liver stuff is scary.
Geez, what's going on with the world this week? Everyone I know is going through rough stuff - not just the people in Louisiana and Mississippi. Ma Nature is mad and/or the Universe is P'O'd about something!

I will keep Rob and his daughter and family in my prayers, too. My sister-in-law is a pediatric oncologist, and many many children who do get help survive. The hospital probably has parent support groups that her family may want to use. Support groups are a big help, you realize that you aren't the only ones in this situation, and you can often learn alot by each other's experiences
