$2.69 here in northeast WI. I just filled my tank to the top yesterday morning and then at night found out that a small gas leak had started along the seam of my tank! What a waste of money. Guess I go school shopping this weekend so I can use up the gas before it goes to waste.

2.59 a gallon here in Dallas. Luckily, I drive less than 3 miles to work. Unfortunately, hubby drives all the way on the other side of the DFW metroplex. He's spending a fortune in gas. He has a little economy car, or I don' t know what we'd do!

It's about $2.40 here for the cheapest. Of course that was yesterday so it will probably be higher today.

It's nuts! I pass several gas stations going to and from church. The price of "Plus" was, at the different stations in order as I pass them,
    $2.77 a gallon
    $2.69 a gallon
    $2.65 a gallon
    $2.83 a gallon
    $2.71 a gallon

Keep in mind than these stations are all within a mile of each other, on just two different, intersecting streets.

The place that is now at $2.77 a gallon is the most astounding to me. Friday I went to get gas (for our Connecticut trip) and to buy bunny greens. When I bought gas at the start of the trip, it was $2.59. LESS than half an hour later, I passed the SAME station, and it had jumped 10 cents to $2.69!

Oh wow, I thought $2. 30 was bad. Its insane how much its raising, I remember when gas was only 1.33 per gallon. I'm wondering if the public buses are getting busier with the cost of fuel going up so fast.

I think the lowest I saw yesterday was $2.39. That was after I gassed up at $2.50, but I also saw some up to $2.70.

Thanks so much kittycats_delight for the beautiful siggy and avatar of my kids!

Well, today in my area it hit an all time high of $2.79 but I did see ONE place that had it for $2.55! I saw about 20 gas stations and all had the same price except that one. That is for selfserve regular.

It's $2.48 here now. It went up a dime since Friday. I'm not going to be able to aford to keep my car at this rate. Only problem, we don't have any public transportation.

Oh, well, eating is just a habit. I don't need to eat more than once a day anyway.
