I am so very sorry that Jake's illness has taken him from
this life. He must have felt so sick, but of course they always
try to bear up so well so we won't worry about them.

Please know that you were a true friend to Jake. I'm sure he
will be right there to greet you someday from Rainbow Bridge.

Rest in Peace sweet Jake, you will be missed sweetheart.

This is just so awful. I can't stop crying.

What if we didn't do the right thing? Maybe he would have rather lived a few more days.

What if the lab test was wrong?

When we put him in the car he was just grinning from ear to ear - like he was saying "Thanks for the car ride! I love you!" That was just 5 hours ago and now he's gone.

    I can't believe he's gone. Maybe I'm just dreaming.

    Thanks for the siggy, Lexi_Lover!

We're going to take Max and the chis and go to the farm now. Max definitely knows something's wrong. I'll bring him out to play with his new buddies.

Talk to you all tomorrow. Thanks for everything.

    Thanks for the siggy, Lexi_Lover!

Stacwase, I'm so sorry to hear about Jake. My thoughts are with you. So much sadness in the "Dog Memorial" section today.

Oh my gosh Stacey, I'm so sorry for your loss.
RIP Jake; you were loved and you loved your hoomans. Please watch over them for us. Romp and play happily at the RB and watch for Toshie. He'll show you the way to the tastiest treats.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
