Oh Kim! I am heart broken for you! How scared you must be about the rest of your babies. I can't imagine your fear and the pain that must be in your heart. You have done so much good only to have this put on your plate. I'm so so so sorry! We know that God only puts on us what we can handle but sometimes that seems questionable I know. There is a reason for everything and in time we shall know what that reason is.
I'm just sick for you and if you just need to talk, scream, or vent in any way please feel free to contact me. We are all here for you.
    Godspeed precious Duncan Noodle.

    Thank you all.......

I just am at such a loss right now .... Jerry and I both are. Duncan was his Daddy's favorite, so we both shared tears of pain yesterday. I feel so stupid, so terribly negligent... for not having tested and such as I should have. I always rely so strongly on my Faith .... but even God expects us to use our heads as well! I can only hope and pray that He will see fit to spare my remaining babies .... in spite of my stupidity.

Kim, don't you start blaming and beating yourself up!! You haven't done anything that most of us who have tried to rescue a lost, lonely, needy cat haven't done! We all know the "proper" way to do things but sometimes it just doesn't seem feasible at the time. When we were growing up we opened the door to anything. We never thought about testing for diseases or anything like that. Yes, we have all grown and become a little more educated about these things but your heart and pocket book can sometimes lead your head. At least in my case it does!
IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT!! You tried your best to help so many and the price doesn't seem fair.
This has been a lesson learned for you, me and many others. A very sad lesson, I agree, but one that I will try to remember in the future.
God called those babies home for a reason. They had served their time and now they are free. The reason will be clear one day for us all.
We are all praying for you and the rest of your babies. Hang in there and try to think positively. You still have plenty of furbabies that need you and a brand new precious grandbaby on the way. Your life will be very full and happy again soon. You will never forget the ones you have lost but it will get better.
Remember that we love you and are praying for you.
Please keep us posted on how you are doing.

I am so sorry for Duncan, Kim. I remember so well what a little strong man he seemed to be- and he is that right now at Rainbow Bridge.

    RIP, sweet boy.
