Go lay down. This isnt your Veterans Day.
Nov. 11 is Veterans Day or Remembrance Day in many countries. I think the date is the day World War I ended.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Yep, you are right Phesina.
Remembrance Day, which was originally called Armistice Day, commemorated the end of the hostilities for the Great War (World War I), the signing of the armistice, which occurred on November 11, 1918 – the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
The symbol we use for the day is the Flanders Poppy, we get to wear them on our jackets. One of my medals (The Australian Defence Medal) has a ribbon that was modelled on the same colour of that flower.
"I'm Back !!"
Remembrance (Armistice or Veterans) Day is observed in many countries around the world. All the Commonwealth countries for starters; others include France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Hong Kong, The Netherlands, Poland. It was originally dedicated by King George V.
John, your medal is beautiful. Thanks for sharing with us.
This isn't too far from where I live. Today over 300 people showed up to support him on his ride to school, waving flags and supporting him, it was pretty awesome.
don't breed or buy while shelter dogs die....

Thanks Kfamr for the signature!
That is great to hear. Something postive came out of it.
